Brigitte has worked at Madeley Practice since graduating in English and American Literature from Keele University in 2012. She initially started as part of their admin team and gradually progressed into the role of Elderly Care Facilitator (ECF) as part of the Newcastle South Over 75 project. She was one of the first ECFs and has been working on what is currently known as the FAAS scheme from the very beginning. She has recently graduated from Keele University for a second time with a Masters in Medical Science specialising in Frailty and Integrated Care. As well as continuing to work in her role for Madeley Practice, Brigitte has also taken on a new role for the PCN as Health Inequalities Lead and supports the delivery of the health inequalities DES specification. She is passionate about getting services into our areas for our patients and making sure that they are at the centre of everything we do. In her spare time Brigitte enjoys attending gym classes, doing anything crafty from knitting to colouring to decoupaging, reading and trips to the theatre….she loves a spot of Shakespeare as well as a good musical!
