Alicia is a Social Prescribing Link Worker and has extensive experience working with people living with multiple and complex needs. She has significant experience working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and various ages. She gained her degree in Psychology from Lancaster University in 2011, and following this went travelling and worked around the world for 3 years. When she returned, Alicia began working with Young Offenders and supervised a Peer Mentor Service. Alicia is a committed and compassionate person who likes to prioritise what is important to the individual patient and identify a pathway into the relevant services to enable patients to gain the support and assistance they are entitled to: she believes that it is important that each person is made to feel comfortable, empowered and cared for. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys live music, playing the flute and piccolo in her local community orchestra, animal rescue and spending time with her three cats.
