Aisha Ali

Aisha has been in her current role for over 4 years as a clinical pharmacist with a specialty in type 2 diabetes. She also is the care home lead for the PCN which involves supporting care home patients with their medications. Previous to this she worked in community pharmacy for 10 years in various roles and pharmacies all over Staffordshire and Cheshire. Her day-to-day work includes: medication reviews, monitoring patients on blood thinning medications, supporting patients with type 2 diabetes and assisting the pharmacy team and practices with medication related queries. For Aisha, medication reviews aren’t about taking patient’s medications away but looking at the bigger picture and finding the right balance for the patient. This means working with the fantastic team within the practices and PCN to ensure we support patients as best as we can. The pharmacy team are here to help patients get the most out of their medicines. Outside of work Aisha has found a new love for swimming and likes visiting museums with her children.
